Good news for England ahead of World Cup 2023. The team’s star fast bowler Jofra Archer has started bowling in the nets. Archer was last seen playing professional cricket in IPL 2023. However, he played only 5 matches in IPL. Archer was ruled out of the tournament due to injury. Now he has once again started bowling in the nets.

Archer was last seen in international cricket in March 2023 against Bangladesh. Archer was part of the England squad that toured Bangladesh in March, where they played an ODI and T20I series. After that he entered IPL. But due to injury, he had to drop out of the IPL again.

Archer has shared a video of him bowling in the nets in his official Instagram story. However, Archer was seen bowling with light steps in the video. While nothing is clear about Archer whether he will be a part of England in the upcoming World Cup or not.

Let us tell you that Archer plays all three formats for England. He made his international debut in an ODI against Ireland in May 2019. Archer has played 21 ODIs so far, taking 42 wickets at an average of 21.73.

He then made his T20 international debut in May 2019. He has taken 18 wickets at an average of 24.66 in T20 Internationals. And in August 2019 he made his Test debut. He has played 13 Tests for England, taking 42 wickets in 24 innings at an average of 31.04. Let us inform you that he played the last Test in February 2021.
