Lanka Premier League 2023 : Suresh Raina will participate in the auction, know what will be his base price?

Former Indian cricket team player Suresh Raina is set to participate in the upcoming Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2023 player auction. Suresh Raina has included himself in the base prize of US 50,000 Dollar. Lanka Premier League players auction will be held on June 14. And the next tournament will be played from July 30 to August 20.

36-year-old Suresh Raina has decided to retire from all formats of cricket in September 2022. He then participated in the Abu Dhabi T-10 tournament played in the month of December 2022. In which he scored a total of 36 runs in 3 matches while playing for Deccan Gladiators.

Suresh Raina also participated in Legends League cricket played in March this year. While in the 16th season of IPL, he was seen playing the role of a commentator. Suresh Raina’s performance in IPL has been superb. He has scored 5,528 runs in 205 matches at an average of 32.51 and a strike rate of 136.76. Suresh Raina has 39 fifties and 1 century in IPL. Apart from this, he is at number 5 in the list of highest run scorers in IPL.

For the fourth season of the Lankan Premier League, the player auction process will be organized like the IPL. More than 500 players are participating in the player auction, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has confirmed. Around 140 foreign players are involved in it. 500,000 US Dollar has been awarded as a purse to all 5 franchisees participating in the auction. For the upcoming season of Lanka Premier League, many big star players including Pakistani captain Babar Azam have confirmed their participation.
