MSK Prasad made a big statement about Virat Kohli’s captaincy

Ajinkya Rahane has recently returned to Test cricket. Ajinkya Rahane impressed with his batting in the final of the World Test Championship against Australia. Whereas, Ajinkya Rahane has been made a part of Team India for the Test series against West Indies. Indian team will play 2 test match series against West Indies. However, now former Chief Selector MSK Prasad has made a statement on Virat Kohli becoming Test captain again.

Former Chief Selector MSK Prasad has said that, why should Virat Kohli not be made the captain of the Test team again? If Ajinkya Rahane can return to the Test team and become the vice-captain, then Virat Kohli can’t become the captain again? With that, he has said that, I don’t know, what is the mentality of Virat Kohli as a captain? But Virat Kohli can be made the captain of the Test team again. It is worth mentioning that MSK Prasad has played the role of BCCI’s chief selector.

Let us tell you that after Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli took over the captaincy of the Indian Test team. Virat Kohli’s stats as a Test captain are commendable. However, after continuous ups and downs in batting, Virat Kohli left the captaincy of the Test team. Rohit Sharma was made the new captain of the Indian Test team after Virat Kohli left the captaincy. Currently, Rohit Sharma is the captain of Team India in ODI and T20 formats apart from Tests.
