Asia Cup 2023 : The match against Sri Lanka was a big blow to the Pakistan team
The match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Asia Cup 2023 is scheduled to be played tomorrow i.e. Thursday, September 14. For both the teams, this match is like a semi-final. Actually the winning team of this match will enter the final. Before this important match, the Pakistan team has received a big blow.
Pakistan’s star fast bowler Naseem Shah has been ruled out of the 2023 Asia Cup due to injury. Naseem was injured in the Super-4 match against India. Against India, Naseem Shah left the field in the 49th over due to a hand injury. After this he did not even come to bat.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has also announced Naseem Shah’s place. 22-year-old fast bowler Zaman Khan has been included in the squad in place of Naseem Shah. Zaman Khan, who bowls with action like former Sri Lankan great Lasith Malinga, bowls at 150.
