IPL 2023 Points Table: Latest Team Standings, Rankings
The points table gives points to the teams based on their wins, ties, and losses in the tournament. A win gives two points, while a tie or no result earns one point. A loss earns zero points.
The team that has the most points in the tournament is ranked first in the points table, followed by the team with the second-highest points, and so on. The points table gets updated regularly after every match, so we can see the teams’ performances after each match.

The IPL 2023 points table is important because it decides which four teams will qualify for the playoffs. The top four teams in the points table at the end of the group stage will qualify for the playoffs. In case of a tie in points between two or more teams, the net run rate (NRR) comes into play, which is the average runs scored per over minus the average runs conceded per over. The team with the higher NRR will get ranked higher.
