The Asia Cup is now being played under a hybrid model. However, earlier the Pakistan Cricket Board was refusing to accept this model. But after losing hosting, Pakistan agreed to adopt a hybrid model. Under this model, four matches will be held in Pakistan, while the remaining matches will be held in Sri Lanka.
