BCCI has said that, after discussion with stake association and concerned people, we have decided to increase the number of tickets. For this reason, in the next phase we are going to sell approximately 4 lakh tickets online. It is further written that, our effort is to ensure that as many cricket fans as possible reach the ground to watch the World Cup matches. For this reason we have taken this decision. While the online booking of these tickets will start from September 8.

Cricket fans can book tickets online at https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com. These tickets will be available on September 8 from 8 PM onwards. This will be the second phase of ticket booking. If tickets are booked for the third phase after this, it will be notified soon. It is worth mentioning that the World Cup is starting from October 5. The Indian team will start their campaign with a match against Australia. The match between India and Australia will be played in Chennai on October 8. At the same time, the final match of this tournament will be played on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
