According to media reports, the organization of the Road Safety World Series has been approved by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). However, this time there will be a total of 9 teams competing for the title in the Road Safety World Series. Actually the Road Safety World Series started in the year 2020. The Road Safety World Series features former cricketers from different countries on the field. Till now 8 teams were playing in Road Safety World Series, but this time Pakistan will have one team, thus Road Safety World Series Season 3 will have total 9 teams. Notably, the first season of the Road Safety World Series was not played in 2020 due to the Corona pandemic. Then the first season was played in the year 2021. The second season of Road Safety World Series was played in the year 2022. In the year 2020, teams from India, Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies and Australia played in the first season, but the tournament had to be stopped after only 4 matches.
